21st July 2006- The All Clear
The saga continues. Funny how bad ideas sometimes sound good when you aren't sure what to do next.
For those out there who enjoy eBay, wether you have visited my shop or not (if not, why the hell not?), this may be of interest- because it has ignited somewhat of a rebellion in the eBay forums. The eBay store fees are rising and no-one is happy. Stores have closed, boycotts and strikes are threatened, sellers are abandoning eBay. Even A Current Affair and Today Tonight have been contacted and apparently are interested in the story as eBay is so big and have run segments on it's 'success stories' previously.
I have thrown Nifty's Toys and Games' support behind the plans to disrupt and force eBay's hand back to a more reasonable price structure. Failing that, I'm already planning and plotting an independent internet store of my own. I am officially a secessionist. Hopefully this doesn't go the way of the attempted colonial breakaway in Firefly.
