16th October 2006- On the Same Wavelength
I intended to milk the Scarlett Johansson gag. And I have.
We both wanted to say hi to all those giving positive feedback about the site- especially the Petrix storyline. I was beginning to wonder if the long continuous tale was the way to go, but we have heard that many are happy with it. We plan to go back to one-off gags based on the real, strange events of our lives for a while once it is done in a few weeks and then go off on another tangent.
Speaking of going off on a tangent, here's me doing it- I followed a link today to an opinion piece which managed to get me somewhat irritated within a few paragraphs. You know those people that like to tell the world what the group you belong to does and is and they are so off the mark that the urge to submit comments telling them what an idiot they are almost overwhelms you? Yeah, one of them. Strangely, there was no forum or posting for comments from readers. No email links to the author. Mind you, not that surprising considering how totally wrong this person was that they LIKED living in a bubble where no-one to reach them.
For the record, I'm not linking to it in order to keep this strip as politics and controversy free as possible. We hope to keep this site somewhere where you can be entertained, because God damn it, I'm sick of being lectured when just trying to have fun.
